During the past few months the TeamSpeak developers have published several new information about their upcoming product called TeamSpeak 3. Minutes ago, the dreams of all TeamSpeak fans finally became reality, since the initial release date of the TS3 client and server has finally been announced. The Open BETA of the highest-quality and best featured voice communication software ever starts on:

SATURDAY DEC 19th, 2009

13:37 CET

Upon this date, several public test servers will be available and you'll also be able to start your own TeamSpeak 3 server if you've the technical background knowledge.

Current TeamSpeak 2 Authorized TeamSpeak Host Providers (ATHPs) will be contacted in the coming weeks with further details on how to become a TeamSpeak 3 ATHP. Established hosting companies who are not currently offering TeamSpeak hosting will also have the opportunity to apply to become a TeamSpeak 3 ATHP ahead of time as well.
